Welcome to Run Ricky Run

Welcome to Run Ricky Run, a fundraising initiative of the Ponting Foundation that is totally dedicated to raising funds to support children affected by cancer.

Run Ricky Run provides a direct link between your willingness to donate money to a fantastic cause and my ability to make runs for Australia.

Thank you to all those who donated during the recent ODI series against Pakistan and West Indies. Your support is very much appreciated.

You can continue to help by clicking on the 'Donate' button on this page. You can make a fixed donation or an amount per run that I score during the One Day International series against New Zealand.

Every donation to Run Ricky Run will be distributed by the Foundation to one of its beneficiary charities, so please give generously and help make a real difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

Thanks for your support,

Ricky Ponting

Ricky Ponting: Really good win by the boys last night. Our bowlers all did a really good job and it was great to spend so much time with Hads during his match winning knock. I enjoyed my own innings and am looking forward to getting back to Auckland later this morning to get ready for tomorrow's 4th game. Short turn around but we're ready.

Ricky Ponting: Just about to arrive into Hamilton. Good to win yesterday but we still have plenty of work to do - we all seem to be a bit below what we know we can do.

Ricky Ponting: Yesterday's game showed that one day cricket is still very much relevant in the world of cricket. We lost our first ODI since the tour of India last year and all credit to New Zealand who managed to keep us under pressure the whole way through the game. But I'm sure we will bounce back hard in the second game in Auckland on Saturday.
